Slowly, but its coming along

There are still alot to do in the house but it's coming along nicely. Brett and Levi cleaned out the addition so Brett could work out. I would to but since the walls and ceiling are not sheetrocked we closed the vents. It's just a little chilly in there. Brett said he didn't freeze so it was ok. I think I'll wait til after teh hoildays to start working out again! There is still alot of stuff in there but not as much as there was. I shouldn't go look in the garage I was told. This really is a huge room and I can't wait for it to be finished (probably next summer). Brett also painted the kitchen wall that was unfinished. He also put insulation in some cracks so we can put the crown up. Jason finished putting in the cans in the front entryway. It looks great, by the way!

Finally Moved In!!!

Finally we have actually started unpacking boxes!! We moved on Halloween but there were still things that needed to be done before we could really start to unpack. The shower needed to be finished and the countertops in the kitchen needed to be installed and there were some broken cabinets and a piece missing for the pantry but now that everything is finished and we finally got internet and cable (yeah, FOOTBALL!!) Here are the most recent pictures I took this morning. We still need to put crown and base board in and the lights need trim in the front room. The backsplash in the kitchen needs to be finished and the grout sealed, and the one wall needs to be painted and that's about it!! Thanks to all the people who helped us move and work on the house. The next time I buy a house (I plan on being here a LONG time) I'm going to hire someone to do all the work or it will already be done!
